The twenty first annual St. Patrick’s Parade in the Village of Rockville Centre will take place on Saturday, March 25, 2017. In its short history, our Parade has gained a reputation as one of the finest St. Patrick’s Parades in the metropolitan area. Over 100 contingents, including most of the area’s top pipe bands will take part in this year’s event. We are proud to have Patti Ann McDonald as our 2017 Grand Marshal.
What makes the Rockville Centre Parade most unique is the fact that it is “The Parade that Cares and Shares”®. We believe that this is the first parade of its kind in the United States with the goal of raising money for worthy charities. During the past nineteen years the Parade has supported and donated over $1,000,000 in funds to 61 charities and continue to March forward each year while honoring our mission as the Parade that Cares and Shares. With your help and support we hope to be able to continue this tradition of giving and sharing.
In conjunction with the Parade, the committee will publish a commemorative journal dedicated to our Grand Marshal Patti Ann McDonald. We invite you to take part in this wonderful celebration by advertising your business in our journal or by taking a personal ad to show your support for the Parade and our Grand Marshal. Special sponsorships are also available at various levels.
We believe that this Parade presents an opportunity, not only for the community to celebrate our Irish culture, but to demonstrate our generosity toward several very worthy causes. Your support of this event, in whatever level you feel appropriate, will be greatly appreciated and will help ensure that this Parade will continue for years to come and that it will always be known as “The Parade that Cares and Shares”®.
Many Irish Blessings,
Rockville Centre St. Patrick’s Parade Committee
Thank you to all our 2016 Sponsors!
